World Bank In Grenada to Support Grenada’s Home Grown Programme

ST. GEORGE’S, GRENADA Tuesday, October 22, 2013: A team of World Bank Officials is in Grenada to conduct an identification mission in preparation for a Development Policy Loan (DPL) under its Comprehensive Debt Framework (CDF) for Grenada.

 The Mission runs from October 21 – 24, 2013 and is led by Mr. Francisco Carneiro (Sector Leader). The team is comprises Ms. Rei Odawara (Country Economist for the OECS and Barbados, Task Team Leader), Ms. Hannah Nielsen (Senior Economist and Task Team Leader), a public procurement specialist, a disaster Risk management Specialist among others.

 This funding, up to US$30M, will support Grenada in areas such as private sector led growth; public sector management; disaster management; and debt resolution.
