ST. GEORGE’S, GRENADA, April 8, 2017 – GIS:  The public is advised that the inaugural Grenada Invitational will be broadcast live on the Government Information Service, channel 22.

Viewers are asked to tune in from Five O’clock on Saturday afternoon for the broadcast which starts with an official ceremony and includes the renaming of the Athletic Stadium in honour of Grenada’s Olympic Gold Medalist Kirani James.

About 150 of the world’s leading athletes are on show in the event which climaxes around 9:30 p.m. with a 400 metre race featuring Kirani James before the curtain comes down with a special cultural presentation and fireworks.
