Prime Minister Dr. Rt. Hon. Keith Mitchell will attend the state funeral on Saturday of former Trinidad and Tobago Prime Minister Hon. Patrick Manning who died on July 2^nd.

The service begins at 10:00 am.

Mr. Manning was a dear friend of Prime Minister Mitchell and the people of Grenada, and in a note to his family following his death, Dr. Mitchell described his departed friend as a "charismatic leader, who loved people and promoted regional unity."

Dr. Mitchell left Grenada on Friday and will return on Saturday afternoon.

In his absence, Hon. Gregory Bowen is acting as Prime Minister.
