ST. GEORGE'S, GRENADA, Monday, March 03, 2014, - GIS: On behalf of the Government and People of Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique, Prime Minister Dr. Keith Mitchell extends congratulations to the son of Grenadian parents, acclaimed Director, Mr. Steve McQueen on winning the Oscar for Best picture, "12 Years a Slave."
Prime Minister Mitchell has also extended hearty congratulations to Mr. Killa (Hollice Mapp) on placing 2nd in the International Soca Monarch competition, and on winning "Breakout Artist of the year" in Trinidad; as well as Tall Pree (Wilt Cambridge) for flying high the Soca Flag.
