ST. GEORGE’S, GRENADA, JUNE 9, 2016 -GIS: The Ministry of Education and Human Resource Development announces that the Indian Institute of Public Health-Delhi (IIPH-Delhi) has announced its call for applications, for the eighth batch of students, for its Post Graduate Diploma in Public Health Management (PGDPHM), offered in the academic year August 2016 to July 2017.
The duration of this course is twelve months (9 months of class room teaching and 3 months of project work, including field study). This program aims to bridge the gap in the public health managerial capacity among health professionals in the country. It is designed to enhance the capacity of the public health managerial workforce and to impart knowledge and skills to address and resolve key health management challenges. A major strength of the programmed is providing participants with opportunities to apply learning directly within the community setting.
Applicants should have a graduate/postgraduate degree in medicine, AYUSH, dental, nursing, pharmacy, health sciences, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, natural/life sciences, management, social sciences, social work, economics, statistics, or any equivalent qualification.
