Kirani James Day September 1st 2015

W.I.S.E.R.; (short for Women Involved in Sports, Education and Recreation), in collaboration with the community of St. John, hereby invites the general public to its activities celebrating Kirani James Day on Tuesday, September 1st, 2015, starting from 6 p.m. at the Bridge next to the Cuthbert Peters Park in Gouyave.

A procession with drumming and folk-dancing will be held from the bridge next to the Cuthbert Peters Park through to the top of Depradine’s Street and back to the Hard Court, where tributes will be done in various forms, and much more.

You are invited to be part of the community’s celebration of Kirani’s birthday and Kirani James Day. Come out with your national flags and placards about Kirani; and be sure to wear your national colours.

W.I.S.E.R. thanks the many people who continue to contribute to the celebration of Kirani James Day; and wish each of you a happy Kirani James Day from the W.I.S.E.R. Team and the Community of St. John.
