Hon. Emmalin Pierre invites members of the community, members of the media, and other interested persons to attend the ceremony to officially commission the Reading Room at Telescope Primary School onTomorrow, Tuesday 30th December starting at 3:00 pm.
With the Support of the Grenada Schools Trust and in partnership with Hands Across the Sea, Rooms to Read has begun implementation of projects that seek to, among other things, maximize outcomes in early-grade literacy intervention.
Towards this end, a reading room was created at Telescope Primary School and Rooms to Read intends to establish libraries in all primary schools in Grenada. Therefore this commissioning activity represents one of the early achievements of Rooms to Read’s work. It is intended that the initiatives of Room to Read and its partners will bring benefits to more schools on the island in the not-too-distant future.
