Kayak returns from Canada with Brand New Lenovo Laptop Computer for the L’Esterre Pre-Primary School on the Sister-Isle of Carriacou

Mr. Theodore H. Blaize, a friend of Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Labor, Legal Affairs, Carriacou and Petite Martinique Affairs and Local Government, Hon. Elvin Nimrod, presented a brand new Lenovo Laptop Computer to the L’Esterre Pre-Primary School on the sister-isle of Carriacou to assist in educating the preschool’s infants.

Mr. Blaize, in handing over the computer, mentioned that the reality of this kind gesture would not have been possible if Deputy Prime Minister Nimrod did not challenge him to return and give service to his country on a recent visit he made to Canada.

Blaize said that with technology being dominant in most parts of the world today, especially in the area of education, he found it most fitting to make this contribution in alignment.

Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Labor, Legal Affairs, Carriacou and Petite Martinique Affairs and Local Government, Hon. Elvin Nimrod,expressed sincere gratitude to Mr. Blaize for responding to his challenge, one in which he described as significant in such a short space of time.

Minister Nimrod also added that with technology being the main drive behind education, he’s certainly sure that the contribution would make some positive impacts, not only on the young ones, but also the future of the country on a whole.

Additionally, Minister Nimrod advised the teachers of the L’Esterre Pre-Primary School to effectively utilize the computer, for it would play a pivotal role in their ability to impact on the knowledge of the young ones.

Teacher in charge of the L’Esterre Pre-Primary School, Ms. Bernadine Lendore, in receiving the laptop computer expressed gratitude to Mr. Blaize for his wonderful and significant contribution.

She pledged to care for and use the laptop in enhancing the delivery of lessons to the students.
